- Provide an example of a successful (or unsuccessful) implementation due to strong (or weak) executive and stakeholder involvement. What occurred?
- If you are unable to provide an example, describe the potential risks and outcomes due to the lack of executive and stakeholder involvement in EA governance.
One example of the strong executive and stakeholder involvement is HSHMC achievement in the Gold Ribbon Award. This award was built around the internship program that we have with Sharp Hospital. There had to be a great program in place for students to invest and a hospital to commit to work with high school students. This is an example of how the leaders of the school created a vision and asked outside stakeholders to believe in a program to help students get into the workforce. The school has been open since 2007 and the executive have worked hard to get this program recognized. Applying for this award asked people in the community to review the internship program. We were awarded the Gold Ribbon this year and we will continue to strive for new goals.
If executive leaders and stakeholders are not working together, then the vision of the school or program will not be successful. All team players have a role to make the best school in the universe.
