Joanna, what a great activity having your honor students create lessons for the entire class. Again, you're providing them a great leadership role, encouraging them to think outside the box and create something engaging and creative for their peers. I can't help but to reflect on the "three-person process" that we discussed at the front end of this class, and recognize the power in having students adopt this, or similar processes, for learning. I sometimes give my students the option to "teach" one of our math groups. I try and be equitous and give everyone the chance to do a lesson using my iPad and Apple TV setup for math. It may be another path to actually have them think about and prepare their own lessons on a topic we'll be covering. I appreciate that your taking this step, and look forward to hearing how things turn out with your students' lessons!
